I’m probably best described as a temporal enthusiast. My chosen hobby is to better understand how the notion of “time” is defined and applied cross all subjects and disciplines. I’ve been fascinated since the late 01990’s when it all started with a pedantic search for a definition of the millennium. Chasing down a satisfactory answer only raised more questions and before you know it, you find the thread of time woven into every subject, from religion to politics to computing to astrophysics – it manifests everywhere.
Part of the appeal is that so often knowledge is partitioned into silos, but time doesn’t easily fit that mould. Instead it threads it’s way through every discipline and into some very surprising places. I’ve met some wonderful people through this and had some amazing experiences. It’s good to have a hobby.

If you have one clock … you are peaceful and have no worries.
If you have two clocks … you start asking, “What time is it, really?”
