If you're familiar with how the Javascript or Actionscript Date class works you'll know that a single Number lies at the core of any Date() value. This value counts the total number of milliseconds since the Unix epoch began on 1st Jan 1970.
In just over 8 hours time (on Friday February 13th 2009 at 23:31:30 UTC) the value of that offset will quietly tick over to read 1234567890.
