A new BBC Timewatch project aims to provide a more precise date for the Double Bluestone Circle at Stonehenge. The archeology which began at 9.30 this morning is the first in over 40 years and has already turned up some Victorian pottery and a medieval hairpin. Preparation for the dig has been underway for eighteen months and is being recorded for broadcast later in the year.
